Stok Kangri conquered.

Good day all ,
It gives me great pleasure to bring you the news that the team from iQuest successfully summited Stok Kangri.

We summitted the 6135m peak at 11:05am on 12th July. The summit assault was very tiresome. We started at 12 mid-night and got to the top at 11.05 in the noon, and returned at 6 in the evening, making it 18 hours of climb from base camp to base camp.

We thank all our well wishers for this achievement.

The team was lead by myself with assistance from our very experienced climbing guides - Ang Tashi, a two time Everester and summitter of various 7000m and 6000m peaks and Karma the local guide who has a lot of experience in this field.

With this iQuest moves into a different league of mountaineers. We look forward for more climbing expeditions and it is not far before we get to 8848.
Plans are on to take on 7000m peaks.

Everest Base Camp a grand success.

We have completed the expedition to Everest Base Camp successfully.

The team arrived on 27th April. Though tough it was a rewarding experience to all.

For iQuest it is a third year in a row and that makes a lot of difference in terms of knowledge and information gained of that region.

We congratulate all the members of the expedition for having endured the rough weather and the high altitude conditions of the Khumbu valley and for having completed the mission at hand and making all of us proud.
